Stevens D-walls (V)

The second portion of the stage 3 traffic diversion works had been implemented along Stevens Road last week, allowing for the construction of the remaining half of the station's diaphragm wall. Excavation works have commenced at Entrance C&D. 

The project's first tunnel completion for the 300m southbound tunnel between Dalvey LS and the station is due next week (TBM 4). Lack of soil profile understanding beneath private properties and portions of unfavorable geological conditions are hindering the tunnel progress towards Napier, as well as between Mount Pleasant and Stevens station.

The platform and mezzanine levels of the station have been cast and RC works will progress up to the concourse level in the next quarter. TBM S-936 has also completed the first Changi bound tunnel towards Caldecott earlier this month.

Piling at Upper Thomson (II)

Diaphragm wall structure for the station is finishing up and construction of the roof slab is being done. TBM 1 has completed its first drive to Upper Thomson station and relaunch for the second drive is being prepped.

Bright Hill Excavation

Excavation works are in full swing at the station box. RC roof of the north cut and cover tunnel has also been cast. Main drive of the 4 TBMs are progressing and should be completed from the end of Q3 2017 onwards.

Mayflower Cast (III)

Basic structure of the entrances are progressively completing accompanied by backfilling works on the surface.

Lentor Excavation (IV)

Excavation and casting works are ongoing at the concourse level.

Tagore Cast (IV)

Structure of the concourse slab is mostly completed for the station box. TBM B drive is over 85% completed now and breakthrough at Springleaf is expected in early Q2. TBM C2 will follow suit a quarter later. Staging works for trackwork will commence at Tagore by year end with handover of site possession to CTCI at the later part of the year.

Facility Building - TBM 3 Breakthroughs

Piling works have recommenced at the facility building site, this time for the superstructural works. TBM 3 has broken through the facility building site from SBAB, while TBM 4 is meters away beneath the Mandai Lake Flyover awaiting settlement remedial actions. TBM 1 and 2 from Springleaf have almost reached the facility building and would complete by the 2nd quarter.

Mandai Depot - TBM 3 Second Breakthrough

Tunnelling works for the T206 project are wrapping up with 8 of the 10 bored tunnels completed. Cross passage excavation and the first stage concreting works are taking place within the tunnels. Structural, fittings and trackworks are progressing at the depot.
